Education Unit : SMA Negeri 3 Jombang

Subject : Chemistry

Class/Semester : X/2

Learning Material : Electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution

Time Allocation : 3 x 45 minutes

I. Standard Competence : Understanding the characteristics of non-electrolyte and

electrolyte solution, and also oxidation-reduction reaction.

II. Basic Competence : Identifying the characteristics of non-electrolyte and

electrolyte solution based on the data of experiment
result.

III. Indicator :

1. Identifying the characteristics of electrolyte and non electrolyte solution through

experiment.
2. Classifying solutions into electrolyte and non-electrolyte.
3. Explaining the cause of the ability of electrolyte solution to conduct electrical current.
4. Describing that electrolyte solution can be ion compound or covalent polar.

IV. Learning Goal

1. Given tools, materials, and worksheet, student can predict the tools and materials that
used in electrolyte and non electrolyte experiment correctly.
2. Given tools, materials, and worksheet, student can explain the using of each tool that
used in electrolyte and non electrolyte experiment clearly.
3. Given tools, materials, and worksheet, student can arrange the tools that used in
electrolyte and non electrolyte experiment correctly.
4. Given tools, materials, and worksheet, student can do experiment of electrolyte and
non electrolyte experiment correctly.
5. Given tools, materials, and worksheet, student can identify the characteristics of
electrolyte solution based on the electrical conductivity correctly.
6. Given tools, materials and worksheet, student can identify the characteristics of non-
electrolyte solution based on the electrical conductivity correctly.
7. Given data of experiment, student can classify solutions into electrolyte or non-
electrolyte solution based on the electrical conductivity correctly.
8. Student can define the electrolyte solution and non-electrolyte solution based on
experiment correctly.
9. Given 5 electrolyte solutions, student can describe the electrolyte solutions that
belong to ion compound correctly.
10. Given 5 electrolyte solutions, student can describe the electrolyte solutions that
belong to covalent polar correctly.
