 Conclusions
- As a result of the test on the current collection performance of catenary system
at 250 km/h and 350 km/h developed in Korea, It has been verified that the
contact force, and uplift, the percentage of arcing comply with international
standards.
- The percentage of arcing increases rapidly with speed, so it can be applied up
to 300km/h by 0.2 %.
- The percentage of arcing (0.1808%) in 350km/h satisfy with the standard and
statistical minimum contact force is 27.3 N, which is satisfactory compared to
the percentage of arcing.

- The analysis of percentage of arcing shows a maximum arc duration of 15ms

and percentage of arcing appears to have an excessive reference value
compared to the contact force.

=> Domestic applications need to evaluate the reference values of speed test by
comparing with various speed tests.
