Introduction to Environmental Stewardship

As part of a comprehensive sustainable, biological and ecological program designed by

PUREHARVESTS FOODS, for Mobile Harvest expansion, pasture management, greenhouse and
Solutions Plus FreshTrack supply chain quality control, we have developed the environmental
stewardship program called BIOECO. The best practices identified in BIOECO are based on input
from farmers, community consultants and technical agriculture experts from across the GLOBE.

After going through the BIOECO Environmental Stewardship

program you will:

 Understand the environmental issues you face

 Know where your environmental practices are compared to
industry-wide practices
 Be able to identify the most critical environmental issues
 Know the legal and BIOECO Environmental Stewardship waste
processing requirements in relation to the environment as you
are enabled to comply with your local, state and federal
regulatory compliance
 Understand those issues where you require more information,
and provided you with a bio-waste and reporting working
solutions for the issues.

BIO WASTE MANAGEMENT MADE SAFE

The BIOECO waste management process has five main

ingredients
• Understanding Environmental Stewardship
• Understanding the Ecological impact issues associated
with your production waste
• Bringing the safest BIOLOGICAL AND ECOLOGICAL
processes to your production facility
• Utilizing the most efficient bio-waste digester on the
market today. Invented by BIOMAX
• Creating a transparent regulatory reporting structure

Environmental Issues and BIOECO Benefits
Environmental Waste Issues;
 Multiple waste streams in the animal protein and
vegetable industry ranging from manure to
slaughterhouse, and food waste.
 Spreading of manure on the farm is no longer allowed
 As it poses risk of pathogens contamination and
polluting soil and crops.
 Storing solid wastes in pits to decompose takes a long
period of time, produces offensive smell and pollutes the
environment.

BIOECO Using BIOMAX Technology Benefits;

 Waste management BIOMAX technology that meets the
environmental regulations and Composts in 24hours
 Double profits from saving of disposal cost and sales of
organic fertilizer
 High quality organic fertilizer
 Output that meets regulatory requirements

ENERGY, CAPACITY AND OPPERATIONS

The following are BIOMAX DIGESTER energy consumptions;

4000L (3 ton capacity) - 800 Kwh per 24 hours cycle

Even with energy costs areas, we recommend to use full electricity. We can engineer other energy
alternatives. The projected estimated energy cost for each operating cycle would be $380.00

1. Regardless of whether a batch from cold storage or fresh kills or frozen, it will operate under the
same conditions with the same energy demand.

2. You would need other dry inputs to a ratio of 30% dry organic materials (sawdust, husks, paper,
cardboard…etc) are required with 70% feedstock . This is to get to an ideal of 50% - 60% moisture at
start of process. This would be something our engineers will work with your team on-site during
installation and testing and we will be running trials over 2-3 days.

3. For the 4000L system, 1-2 operators for input of raw materials and output of end product removal.
In general material loading and end product removal take 1 hour with front loader. Overall, we
recommend maximum 24 man hours. This includes packaging/bagging for the end product. When the
machine is turned on, it will be operating on auto for the next 24 hours.

ENERGY, CAPACITY AND OPPERATIONS
The following are BIOMAX DIGESTER energy consumptions;

22,000L (15 ton capacity - 1000Kwh per 24 hours cycle

Where electrical energy costs are High, we can assist to engineer using other energy alternatives.

1. Regardless of whether a batch from cold storage or fresh kills or frozen, it will operate under the
same conditions with the same energy demand.

2. Other dry input to a ratio of 30% dry organic materials (sawdust, husks, paper, cardboard ... etc) are
required with 70% feedstock. This admixture offers an ideal of 50% - 60% moisture content at the start
of process. Our engineers will work with your team on-site during installation and testing with full
operational trials over 2-3 days.

3. For the 22,000L system, requires 1-2 operators for raw materials input and end product removal.
In general material loading and end product removal take 1 hour with front loader. Overall, we
recommend maximum 34 man hours. This includes packaging/bagging for the end product. When the
machine is turned on, it will be operating on auto for the next 24 hours.

BIOECO COST AND SET UP

To develop a cost for your BIOECO program you

need to identify the following;
• Your waste output
• Location capacity issue
• Waste management plan (if you need one we can
help develop it)
• Understanding of Local, State and National
regulatory reporting requirements
• Personnel/Training needs for operation
• End product storage and distribution

BIOECO COST AND SET UP

To develop the Final cost for your BIOECO program we take all of the needs
and calculate the size of the BIOMAX BIO-DIGESTER based on your capacity
need and if requested we identify your monitoring and training needs for
regulatory reporting with the online BIOECO program;
• We have three sizes of BIOMAX digester
– 4,000L 3 ton per/day
– 22,000L 15 ton per/day
– 80,000L 50 ton per/day
• Finalizing your individual Waste Management Plan (if you need one we
can help develop it) to include;
– Understanding of Local, State and National regulations (Cloud Based
Reporting)
– Training needs for operators (Ongoing Cloud Based Training)
– End product Labeling , storage and distribution (organic and pathogen free
nutrient values)
