ABOUT ME

YONY DAVID MARTINEZ RIVERA

Colombian musician, 24 (twenty-four) years old, currently I live in the city of

Barrancabermeja-Santander, Colombia. I carried out my musical process in
philharmonic bands, musical culture exchanges and academies. Being part
of different musical projects and participating directly in symphonic and
philharmonic orchestras, as well as in public and private events.

During my practice process, I have been able to experiment and develop

skills in different instruments (general percussion), representing our culture
at a national and international levels. Taking as main instruments the bass
and double bass.

Over the years I have had the great experience of sharing with great
musicians and performers and also the privilege of being and participating in
bassist events as a workshop musician.

I have had the opportunity to be part of various musical projects playing the
bass, such as concerts, musical productions, audiovisual productions,
releases in and live sessions, etc., which have greatly contributed to my
growth and professional development in music field, obtaining great
recognition as The Best Bass Player at the Gospel Santander event,
February 2020.

I am currently participating in the musical projects of the Philharmonic

Orchestra of the University of Santander (UDES), located in the cities of
Bucaramanga, Valledupar and Cucuta in Colombia. Debuting this time not
only as a bass player and double bass player, but also because of my
demonstrated work, passion, dedication, commitment and responsibility, I
assumed the role of teacher.
SKILLS
I am responsible, organized, committed to my work and very punctual.

I have the facility to learn quickly and I like to work in a team, whether it is
contributing my knowledge or leading it.
