Investor`s perspective:

 Before the commencement of construction work the investor should see to it that the
plans are compliant with the aspects of quality and safety standards as mentioned in the
Australian Building Code.
 Timely inspections that are scheduled as per the work schedule and having supervisors
monitor and report it on a scheduled basis.
 Building Surveyors and Structural consultants should conduct a thorough audit after the
construction and regularly during the construction to maintain the quality and safety
standards.
 Try and interact with the tenants to eliminate the chances of there being panic. Check
with the fair trading and building committee if the property is consequential to other new
or upcoming properties.
 It is necessary to get a team on board to figure out the root cause of this failure.

Tennant's perspective
 Conduct a proper due diligence of the project specifications and the history of the
builders and investors to make sure they can handle the projects of that scale.
 The tenants should conduct inspections, record, and report any defects that they see on
site.
 They can also hire their own consultants to run an audit for the building.
 The terms of variations in the construction are to be checked thoroughly and see to it that
the builder is compliant with that aspect.
 Read the terms of insurance and compensation if any that apply to the defects that may
arise in the building is necessary for any mitigation strategy.
