PWNAGE PERFORMANCES
OF THE MONTH
The PWNAGE Performance of the Night is awarded to the fighter on each VFC card that we here at PWNAGE
feel best represents the concept of PWNAGE. You may ask yourself, “What exactly is PWNAGE?” Let’s
examine what the word means to us:

pwnage [pone-edge] –noun

1.an instance of defeating someone severely, often to the point of humiliation
2.a state of compromising or controlling a target
3.an epic clothing company for hardcore MMA fans that like high fives, chicks with machine guns, and nut-
kicking douche-bags through flaming walls of tigers!

Each winner of the PWNAGE Performance of the Night Award will be immortalized by a PWNAGE Signature
Series T-shirt which will be sold at the store in NY on the 1st of the following month. These signature series T-
shirts (and all other shirts in the store) will always be on sale for just $19.50 each. Stock is limited, so if you
see something you like, buy them up fast.

Now let’s take a look at this month’s winners of the PWNAGE Performance of the Night:

VFC 122
ELLIS VS HATFIELD

Vortex Fighting Championship 122: Ellis vs. Hatfield saw reigning welterweight champ Anthony Ellis
defend his title against Hannibal Hatfield. This 5-round war had Ellis coming out on top by doing
damage in the clinch. Hatfield hung in there until the end but just couldn’t put together a winning
gameplan. The card was a little boring by VFC standards as the majority of the fights ended in
decisions leading to a mediocre 144 rating.

The “PWNAGE Performance of the Night” honor for VFC 121 goes to Rob McLovin. He took on
Ernesto Guevara in a heavyweight bought and got a victory via doctor stoppage. McLovin did all his
damage in the clinch as punched his opponent in the face until it looked like hamburger meat. It
wasn’t clear on the video as to whether or not there was a broken nose or fractured orbital but it was
clear that McLovin is lovin’ the smackdown he laid down that night.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling a Rob McLovin signature shirt design on June
1st to commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner will receive
the same honor and all shirts are only $19.50 each.

VFC 123
DREAM VS KESLER

Vortex Fighting Championship 123: Dream vs Kesler featured a matchup between 2 of the best pure
strikers in the VFC. This one went the distance but Tangerine Dream managed to outclass his
opponent Ryan Kesler and take a unaminous 30:25 decision. The result of the fight should be to be
enough to put Dream back in the conversation about the middleweight title picture. The main card
was largely unexciting as 4 of the 5 fights went to a decision. VFC got a mild 130 rating.

The “PWNAGE Performance of the Night” honor for VFC 123 goes to Quentin “Needles” Cane. Cane
took on Nate Loose Cannon in a Welterweight bout. Quentin did well to avoid the standup of his
opponent as he took the fight to the ground. He unloaded an assault of elbows from hell and mashed
up his opponents face like a sledge-o-matic. “Needles” is nasty when he is on point.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling a Quentin Cane signature shirt design on June
1st to commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner will receive
the same honor and all shirts are only $19.50 each.

VFC 124
KICE VS OAKENHORSE

Vortex Fighting Championship 124: Kice vs Oakenhorse was yet another VFC card with a title fight. In
the main event, Slimbo Kice took on Thor Oakenhorse in a heavyweight contest. Oakenhorse proved
to be masterful on the ground and scored a 2nd round upset victory when he finished with an armbar.
Despite an exciting night of great finishes, the card lacked top ranked talent and featured a no
contest. VFC 124 only netting a measly 109 rating.

The “PWNAGE Performance of the Night” honor for VFC 124 goes to KJ “Jack” Dempsey. KJ had his
work cut out for him when in his VFC debut he faced VFC veteran Tyron Compton. However,
Dempsey owned this fight from the second the bell rung and really handed out a school yard ass
kicking on his way to a 40 second TKO stoppage. The man they call Jack has dynamite in those
hands. Let’s see how much more noise he can make in the VFC.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling a KJ Dempsey signature shirt design on June
1st to commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner will receive
the same honor and all shirts are only $19.50 each.

VFC 125
COLOSSUS VS KAR

Vortex Fighting Championship 125: Colossus vs Kar was yet another card in a recent string of
mediocre events. Although the card did not feature a title fight, it did put on a thrilling main event
where former VFC Heavyweight champ “The Ambassador” G Kar took on VFC newcomer JT “The
Warwagon” Colossus. Colossus was able to drop Kar with a stiff counter right hand in the opening
seconds of the fight. However, Colossus was unable to finish off him opponent. Once the ref stood
them back up, Kar took control of the fight, but taking down Colossus and giving him a generous
portion of ground and pound. Kar finished the fight with a bomb from the mount and clinched an
exciting comeback win. The card received a 117 rating.

The “PWNAGE Performance of the Night” honor for VFC 125 goes to Lawrence “Chunk” Cohen. In
his welterweight fight with Bad Boy Bernie he simply dominated. Cohen’s opponent was on a 3-fight
win streak, but never had a chance in this one as Cohen took him down, mounted him, and executed
a text book armbar for his second straight fight. This fight wasn’t on the main card of VFC 125, but
this quick submission will be on highlight reels in the future.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling a Lawrence Cohen signature shirt design on
June 1st to commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner will
receive the same honor and all shirts are only $19.50 each.

VFC 126
THOMAS VS KERNS III

Vortex Fighting Championship 126: Thomas vs Kerns III was a huge event for the VFC. The
main event featured a rubber match between “The Jackhammer” John Thomas and the man
he took the VFC Middleweight Title from, Jack Kerns. Thomas had won the first two matches
between the VFC legends, but this day belonged to Jack Kerns. In a close and exciting fight,
Kerns hurt Thomas early and kept building momentum as the fight went along. Kerns was
most dangerous while in the clinch and finished the fight in the 3rd with a big knee to the pie
hole. The card put up a ridulous rating of 176 and was the 5th vest in VFC history.

The “PWNAGE Performance of the Night” honor for VFC 126 goes to Ken “Hardcore” Hargh.
He squared off against fellow BJJ Brown Belt Doc “The Bonebreaker” Thomas. Hargh finished
his opponent with the quickness when he executed a counter takedown into a flash armbar
from the mount. It was a very impression display of grappling from Hargh who left his
opponent wondering what the hell just happened.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling a Ken Hargh signature shirt design on
June 1st to commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner
will receive the same honor and all shirts are only $19.50 each.

VFC 127
LEIF VS MCLOVIN
Vortex Fighting Championship 127:
Leif vs McLovin featured a top
contender fight with Leif Ericssonl
going against Rob McLovin. The
winner of the fight was probably in
line for a shot at the Heavyweight
title. Ericssonl capitalized on the
opportunity and finished off McLovin
early in the first round with a TKO
stoppage. The card put up a stellar
165 rating making it the 10th highest
rated card in VFC history.

The “PWNAGE Performance of the

Night” honor for VFC 127 goes to
Klein “Kleinomyte” East for his first
round TKO of Chuck Simpson. On
paper, East seemed to be the inferior
striker, but he really dropped the
hammer that night by connecting on
18 of 23 strikes. He put his opponent
on the floor early in the first round
with a deadly mix of hooks and
uppercuts.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling a Klein East signature shirt design on
June 1st to commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner
will receive the same honor and all shirts are only $19.50 each.

VFC 128
JENKINS VS KAHOLIC
LHW TOURNAMENT ROUND 2

Vortex Fighting Championship 128: Light Heavyweight Tournament – Round 2 featured a card full of
the who’s who of Heavyweights and Light Heavyweights in the VFC. The main event was a
Heavyweight title match between defending champ Leroy Jenkins against top contender Al Al
Kaholic. Both men were riding a 4-fight win streak, but Kaholic was the one that would make it 5 in a
row. The standup game of Jenkins was largely ineffective on this night as Kaholic picked his spots
and clinched a KO just seconds before the end of round 2. The card put up an excellent 165 rating for
the second consecutive event

The “PWNAGE Performance of the Night” honor for VFC 128 also goes to Al Al Kaholic. He was
largely unharmed in his title match against Leroy Jenkins. Although his opponent touted a more
impressive striking resume, Kaholic was poetic in his performance. Al Al pulled off Matrix-like
defensive maneuvers while still managing to dart in and systematically shut down his opponent. It
was a duet of devastating head kicks that ended the main event as Kaholic proved once again that he
has steel in his legs. Kaholic is the new Heavyweight Champion.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling a Al Al Kaholic signature shirt design on June
1st to commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner will receive
the same honor and all shirts are only $19.50 each.

With the 2nd round of the VFC Light Heavyweight tournament in the books here is how
the bracket has broken down so far.

Matt Still advances to the semi-finals of the LHW tournament with an impressive
unanimous decision win over Max Dillian. Congratulations Matt Still!

Still will be taking on the top seed in the tournament, Brass Knuckles who had a bye in
the 2nd round after his win over Ryan Ballinger in Round 1.

Junior Felix pulled off his second straight upset of the tournament and beat Joe Atkins
via Unanimous Decision as well. These two wins have shot Felix up the ranks of the
VFC and put him in line for a possible title shot.

Felix will be taking on Randjob Gracie who upset the 2nd seed in the tournament, Klein
East, in the first round.

The semi-finals of the LHW tournament will be at the end of June. Good luck to the
fighters and thank you to all who participated.

THE NEW BREED OF COACH

At UFC 129 we saw Steven Seagal walk out with yet another fighter, Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida.
Segal made his first UFC appearance in the corner of middleweight champion, Anderson “The
Spider” Silva at UFC 126. Both fighters won their bouts via kick to the face. Seagal helped both
fighters perfect the front kick that caught Vitor Belfort and Randy Couture square in the face.

For those of you who don’t know, Seagal is more than just an overweight action star. His martial arts
are 100 percent legit and have been verified by international martial arts federations and journalists
alike. Plus he has bagged some major trim over the years, including Kelly Lebrock and a whole lot of
hot Asain chicks. Seagal studied Aikido and is a seventh Dan Aikido Black Belt. It is said that Seagal
is so cool that the only time he ever breaks a sweat is when he is eating. With the mysticism
surrounding the Aikido-Sensei-turned Hollywood film star mixed with his lethal instruction, one has to
wonder if perhaps some other big name MMA could us a bit of the action star mojo.

In other news, sources have confirmed that ALL of the members of Seal Team Six, the elite military
unit that assassinated Osama Bin Laden, have been personally trained by actor and leading martial
artist Steven Seagal. One of the Seal Team operators said:

"Yes, it is true, Steven Seagal has revolutionized our training and influenced our style, taking us to the
next level as special-ops warriors. Just teaching us to wear yellow-tinted glasses has been a huge
part of our success recently. Also, the fact that he invented Close-Quarter-Battle, the modern
helicopter assault, and the crane kick has been important. He also smells nice."

16
17

The Seal Team Six member did confirm, however, that Steven Seagal was not actually involved in
the take-down of Osama Bin Laden. "He is a very busy man and could not make it. However, we all
were able to prepare for the hit on Osama by watching several re-runs of Out for Justice, Marked for
Death, and our unit's favorite, Hard to Kill."

Other MMA fighters are starting to take notice. Coming in the next few months, expect to see some
major celebrity ass-kickers in the corners of some very high-profile fighters. Rumored celebrity
coaches are Wesley Snipes, Tony Jaa, Hong Kong Phuey, Frank Dux, Ryu Hayabusa, Apollo Creed,
Master Splinter, Liu Kang, Elektra, The Kool Aid Man, Russell Crowe, The Chicken from Family Guy,
Morpheus, One Punch Mickey “The Pikey”, Cleric John Preston from Equilibrium, Jerry Springer,
Blackula, The Hammer Brothers, Happy Gilmore, Michael Cera, The Ultimate Warrior, Daniel
Larusso, Bill the Butcher, Captain Falcon, Obi-wan Kenobi, Gannicus, Hitmonchan, Jason Bourne,
Beatrix Kiddo, James Dalton “The Cooler”, Jaoquin Phoenix, Abraham Lincoln, James Dalton “The
Cooler”, and TJ Combo.

THANKS FOR READING

We regret to inform the fans of the VFC that
