ABOUT/ TOPIC: Week 1 and 2
Place value and Value of Numbers
INTRODUCTION:
Place Value Chart will help you to understand and make sense of numbers even the large ones. It will also help you to easily compare the
value of number up to thousands by looking at your own place value chart.
OBJECTIVE:
For this task, you will be instructed to make your own place value chart where you will be given the step by step process.
Materials:

 1 pc. 1/8 illustration board


 1 pc. Folder (new or used)
 colored paper (2 pcs. green, 1 pc. red, 1 pc. sky blue, 1 pc. yellow, 1 pc. orange)
 3 pcs. bond paper
 glue
 scissors
 ruler
 permanent marker (black)

PROCEDURE:
1. Cut 4 pcs. strap of bond paper with the width of 1 inch
2. Write number 0 to 9 in the strap of bond paper.
3. Cut 4 green colored paper in square shape with the size of 7 x 8 cm.

Then, Paste it on the folder as cardboard


Cut it again and make 2 whole in the middle of the paper as seen in the figure
