tutors. It does not, however, claim to have included every point of view or idea. Tutors
are encouraged to explore and to supplement and/or adapt the material provided in the

• Self introduction.
• Icebreakers:
- Ask about their schools.
- Ask the type of curriculum they are using at school.
- Are they used to International curriculum?
• Confirm the amount of meetings and learning schedule.
Suggested Activities:
• Tell the students a little about yourself, and get to know them.
• An effective start is to find out what students think SAT is all about.
• Which colleges or universities are of interest to the students?
• Do students know the average SAT score required at those schools?
• Do the students have a goal SAT score?
• Give a general overview of the course.
• Share your expectations throughout the course.
