1.

Explain the importance of trade routes that made an impact on economic

development of the different regions in Asia.
The trade routes were primarily used to transport raw materials,
foodstuffs, and luxury goods from areas with excess materials to areas where
they were in limited supply.  The historic world's commerce routes served as
avenues for communication. People traveling from one location to another to do
business conveyed new inventions, religious beliefs, creative styles, languages,
and social conventions, as well as products and raw resources.  They also
played a significant role in the development of Asia's cultural, religious, and
artistic exchanges, which are crucial to the continent's economic development.
2. Discuss the effects of Western Imperialism and Colonialism in some of the
countries in Asia.
The majority of Asian countries have suffered because of Western
imperialism and colonialism. They were robbed of their freedom and had their
choices and behaviors restricted by imperialist and colonial ideals. Most Asian
nations' social systems and ideologies were modified by the addition of
Western imperialism and colonialism, they were heavily influenced by them
and it is evident even today.   Their philosophy, education, and religion, as well
as their culture, tradition, and beliefs, were all impacted. These developments
caused negative effects because each country's native state is gradually
being disregarded, but they also provided an opportunity for other Asian
countries to progress, particularly in the educational sector.
3. Compare and contrast the manner in which independence was attained by
Malaysia and China.
Both countries have achieved independence, but the paths they took to
get there were extremely different. If I were to use symbolism to compare the two
nations' approaches to independence, I'd say Malaysia is Rizal, who seized
everything quietly, while China is Bonifacio, who used violence to defeat the
westerners. Malaysia experienced a peaceful path to independence, but China
had to go through the bloodiest rebellions and wars to achieve the same goal.
4. How could we show our love of country in the midst of problems that beset
it?
I believe that through advocating for our country's freedom, progress,
and people in general, we could show our love for it. We, as citizens of our
country, should voice our opinions and call out those in power if they do
something that may threaten the peace that we have waited for, since we were
colonized for so long. To express our love for our country, we should vote for
leaders that are clean, honest and leaders who only want the best for our
country, not only for themselves. We should select a leader who would combat
corruption rather than robbing his own country.
5. What are the contributions of Ancient Asian civilizations? Which among the
contributions do admire the most? Why?
Ancient Asian Civilizations made significant contributions not only in
Asia, but across the world. Their inventions had a significant influence on the
world in which we now live. These creations were fueled by their desire to meet
their most fundamental human needs. Farming, agriculture, geometry and
astronomy, ancient architecture, art of writing, medicines and surgery,
philosophy, weaponry and naval warfare, mathematics, astronomy, and
medicine, sewage and drainage designs, and political and social structures
were all contributed by Ancient Asian Civilizations. Among all of these
contributions, agriculture is the one I admire most  since food production is
critical to our existence; it is also one of the fundamental elements of
commerce, which lead to a more globalized society.
