EVOLUTIONS HABITUELLES A
CONTEXTE MOYEN TERME
Due to the consequences of climate change, Europe and the whole
world are increasingly looking for alternatives to traditional road

transport technologies. Electric vehicles (EVs) are seen as a Manager, Expert
promising technology, which could lead to decarbonization of the
light vehicle fleets and independence from oil. However, it still has
to overcome some important vehicle safety and security hurdles not
only to achieve significant market penetration, but also to protect
users as well as the vehicle itself in the event of an accident.
The electric battery (EB) is an important part of the EV which is the
main source of energy for driving the vehicle. EB is made up of REGIONS
several electrical, mechanical and chemical components. During
operation, if an accident occurs, the EB may harm users. In Île-de-France
addition, any EB explosion will also be dangerous for the
environment as it contains electrical and chemical products.
The future doctor will propose and develop potential solutions LOCALISATION
against fire generation inside battery in the event of accident.

The principal missions:
▪ Numerical simulation of foam generation and propagation by the DATE DE DEBUT
reaction of chemical and fluid components inside EV battery.
Post analysis of calculated results. Immediately
▪ Optimize the system which generates those chemical reactions.
▪ Design mechanical systems by SolidWorks / Catia V5. Make
necessary modification in CAD. POUR POSTULER

PROFIL

Young Doctor in Physical chemistry / Thermochemistry

▪ Very good knowledge in chemical reaction and molecule/particle

movement simulation; Multiphysics simulation.

▪ Knowledge in fluid dynamics will be truly appreciated.

Knowledge of automotive safety standards is a plus.

▪ Software: COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS, Solidworks, Catia V5,

Microsoft office.

▪ French language is compulsory; and a good level in English is

also expected.

▪ Good humor, team work and thinking outside the box mentality.
