His two main research interests are piled foundations and offshore geotechic, co-authoring books in each area: Piling Engneering, now ints thie eaiton, and Offshore Geotechnical Engineering, He has published over 250 joural article, Broviding novel solutions to practical problems. He is also the author of various pieces of sofware for analysis and design of piles and plle groups. Professor Randolph interacts closely with industry, both in esearch and through his ole 3s Technical Advisor within Fugre AG. He isa Felow of several lermed academies, Incuding the Roya Society and the Australian Academy of Sclence, and in 2013 was lected Scien ofthe Year in Wester Australia.
