HVA INTRO VIDEO GUIDELINES

At the point that the potential clients are about to watch your intro video, they already know
about Hello Rache, and are at the point of choosing an HVA. You’ll briefly introduce yourself.
Here are the general guidelines:
A. Wear professional attire. For females - white coat or blazer of any color, or nursing
uniform. For males, long sleeves with necktie only(may wear a coat).
B. Look straight into the camera as if you are talking with the potential client. Memorize
your lines - observe proper eye contact, avoid looking away from the camera to read a
script on the side - this is an instant redo.

C. Go straight to your designation if you are a registered nurse, registered physical

therapist, etc. (there is no need to say you have passed the local board and worked the
same year). If you do not have a license, you may emphasize you are a graduate or have
a background of ____.
D. Don't forget to mention that you are a Certified Hello Rache Healthcare Virtual
Assistant.
E. Videos must be recorded through PC (preferably Zoom) - ORIENTATION: LANDSCAPE
webcam only, we discourage mobile as it alters video orientation to vertical instead of
full screen, unless you can make it work) with a neutral background - preferably plain
white. May use other video recording software/editor of choice as long as it doesn’t
have big watermarks.
F. Make sure there is adequate lighting - room must be well-lit and a ring light should be
used as an additional light source.

G. Make sure the audio is clear. If you notice any background noise or if audio is choppy -
that is an instant redo. Speak clearly with a good, normal pace (avoid speaking too slow
or too fast). Clarity is very important - you are required to use a noise-
cancelling headset with mic.
H. Avoid mentioning anything negative or anything you're not or anything you don't have
(no need to start statements with “although I have no license..”). Just go straight to
what you’re going to say, focus on the positives - on what you do have and what you can
offer.
I. Keep the video around 60 seconds (90 seconds is the absolute max).
J. Please have a 3-second intro and outro pause. After clicking the play button, pause for
3 seconds before starting to speak. The 3-second pause should apply as well to the end
of your video - pause for 3 seconds before clicking stop.
K. Avoid multiple cuts in the video - you should be able to deliver your script smoothly
without the need for cuts.
L. Be enthusiastic and don’t forget to smile! End your video on a high note (e.g. instead of
just “thank you.” as your ending statement, you may say “thank you and have a great
day!”)
