Hartwell has four Hinsdale athletes
in seniors Zandora Longtree, Ava Reyes,
and Montaya Idler, and freshman Berkley
Hillman. Hartwell said this is the first year
to co-op with Hinsdale. Idler has played
U12 softball.
Kat Malnaa opted to play softball this
year instead of track. The sophomore has
also played softball before. Also new to
the team is freshman Macy Marten.
Glasgow opened the season last
Thursday against Havre, a Class A squad
that Hartwell said will be competing for a
state championship.

first inning where the Scotties scored 10
runs. But the Blue Ponies came back on a
12-2 run for a 17-13 win. Stevie Hartwell
led the Scotties from the plate, going 3 for
5 with a home run and three RBIs. Aune
was 2 for 4, Nelson 2 for 3 and Nyquist had
a hit and two RBIs.
