This matter comes before the court upon the appellant’s application for discretionary
review and interlocutory appeal. The appellant seeks review of the district court’s March
11, 2022 order denying his request to hold a suppression hearing prior to a reverse waiver

hearing; the court’s March 21, 2022 order denying his motion to reconsider; and the court’s
March 22, 2022 order denying his motion to exclude the public from the reverse waiver
hearing. The State filed a resistance. Upon consideration, the application for discretionary
review and interlocutory appeal are denied.
The appellant also filed a motion to seal an attachment. The appellant contends the

attachment contains confidential information and information sealed by the district court.
In reviewing the district court docket, this court notes there is no order sealing this
document. Within 7 days of the date of this order, the appellant shall file a detailed
statement in support of the motion to seal attachment. See, e.g., Iowa R. App. P. 6.110
(regarding documents containing protected or confidential information); Iowa R. Elec. P.
ch. 16, div. VI (Personal Privacy Protection). The State may file a response within three
days after the filing of the appellant’s statement. The clerk has provisionally raised the
security level of the attachment to 1.
