* Preparation of documents for NOC and approval from consultant,Government Au
thorities.
* Approval and procurement of construction materials.
* Quality control procedures such as mix design and various tests of constructi
on materials.
* Quantity survey , rate analysis of different works, preparation of variation
statement and Billing.
* Liaise with the Design Manager to ensure the timely release of shop drawings
and identify any design conflicts.
* Ensure that all required method statements, risk assessments and work permit
are in place for all works and are being followed.
* Organise the duties of the Engineers to ensure adequate coverage of all disci
plines and areas
* Resource management ( Man power, Machinery, Construction material and form wo
rk) .
* Prepare weekly and daily programmes and progress reports with assistance from
the Site Engineer and Planning Engineer and conduct weekly meeting .
* Liaise with the Chief Surveyor to prioritise setting out and recording of as
-built information.
* Work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure that the proper sequence
of work is followed to develop alternative plans when this is not possible.
* To co ordinate and monitor the progress of sub contract activities and deal
with client.
