Subject: Transition Plan with the Executive Team

Hello Mr. Bob,

Reg: Meeting with Executives on the Transition Plans.

We had a wonderful meeting last evening on the transition plan. I used the same deck that I shared with
you and the executive team before you left out of the town. We pretty much had full attendance from
executive teams. Since they were aware of the agenda and your transition plan, they directly went into
their concern on the execution and overcoming their team member’s resistance. Ms. Melinda was very
concerned about how to make members from Germany to work with Product Teams and IT Teams
based out of US. Her concern was about the working style and timings to make them work as a team. I
was quickly able to jump and alleviate her concern by giving more emphasize on team building activity
and cross training exercises that we have planned. Mr. Sampson was very happy about the plan, and he
was particularly interested about our cross-training program. From my judgement, he is more concerned
about morale and motivation. Nevertheless, I made sure, I took the presentation in an interactive
manner to iron out their concerns on execution.

They really showed positive signs on our plan but were particular about the upcoming plan mainly the
team building exercise. As a matter of fact, they advocated few members of their team who can play
certain roles and responsibilities as defined in the plan. Finally, the takeaway is to have a planning team
involving you and the executive team once you are back in town.

I am forward for further direction from your side. Please let me know if I can do anything more on your
transition plans.

Regards,
Sundar
