dissemination of data all over the globe. The power of communication in which
reactions, insights and ideas can be well spread. A new generation of believer and
critic that will soon be the hope of the country, the Young Filipinos. Young people
have this eye for new things, they want something extreme yet they do not really
care that much in today's issues and political affairs. You see, the daily habit of
people is to browse the internet, where social media is the first thing to find and
seriously looking at the post of their friends, idols and memes after, they react and
give comments.
In the 70s, the rule of Martial Law invades the Philippines. It became
marginalized and dictatorial, where people cannot react freely, they cannot speak
for themselves, unless they want to die. The voice of the people where shut down no
one would want to talk against them. Many where brave to protest about the new
leadership but they were not enough. So one brave soldier died for freedom of its
people and its country. And with that the people was given a driven force to speak

would say that Filipino teens nowadays, they do not care about what is happening.
Maybe they do not want change and Do not care about their country.
We as young citizen of this country may seem not to care, but we do. We just what
the adults to deal with it, for we know that they have the mind and authority that can
solve the problem. We give them our trust and stay on board to support. Like when we
are reacting and giving our opinion. We may bash and question but it is our way of
We wanted some change. Just a revision not amendment. For we think that it is
right to just change faulty rules and act but not the whole thing. We seek and weigh the
pros and cons to better utilize our voice and make a point.
We care for our country. We maybe silent but we are listening. We analyze and plan
for the future, by getting involve in research activities and cooperating, because we want
Love for the country is love for our own. We do not want any life to be sacrificed we
We will use our voice to have a loving and great country and gain a significant change
in the near future. Our patience my run out but our love for the country will not. Love is
part of being a Filipino, it is where we get our strength, courage and dignity. We are still
worth dying for, because for us we value life more than anything else and we will move
not only from our belief also from our hearts and minds as one.
