FORCE AND MOTION

What is the relationship between force and motion described by Newton's first
law?

Newton's first law states that all objects will remain at rest or in a uniform, straight
motion unless compelled to change their state by the action of an external force. His
second law explains that when a force pushes or pulls on an object, the force changes
the object's speed or direction, making it accelerate. Newton's second law of motion
provides an explanation for the behaviour of objects when forces are applied to the
objects. When force is applied, it changes the position of the object concerning time
resulting in motion. The motion, in other words, is described as a change in speed or
change in direction.
What do you think is the importance of teaching force and motion in the
elementary?

Force and motion are important parts of everyday life. As students study this unit, they
will learn how these physical factors impact their lives and work. This lessons will help
students become aware of factors like friction, gravity, and magnetic force. Students
know how to move and how to make objects move. Students will also learn to make
their work/life easier by studying force and motion.

Think of any strategy/strategies that will be best for you in teaching force and
motion. Explain why do you choose this strategy/strategies.

As a future teacher for me the best strategies of teaching force and motion is more on
collaborative activities or hands on learning, because it can give to them some
demonstration about the lesson, and invented so far that involves the active
participation of students to experience scientific concepts than to just have an audience
view.
