Flex Sensor 2.2"

RoHS Compliant

Description: A simple flex sensor 2.2" in length. As the sensor is flexed, the resistance across the sensor increases. Patented technology by Spectra Symbol - they claim these
sensors were used in the original Nintendo Power Glove. I love the Nintendo Power Glove. It's so bad!
The resistance of the flex sensor changes when the metal pads are on the outside of the bend (text on inside of bend).
Connector is 0.1" spaced and bread board friendly. Check datasheet for full specifications.
Note: Please refrain from flexing or straining this sensor at the base. The usable range of the sensor can be flexed without a problem, but care should be taken to minimize
flexing outside of the usable range. For best results, securely mount the base and bottom portion and only allow the actual flex sensor to flex

FORCE SENSOR
SENSORS

Force Sensitive Resistor 0.5"

Description: This is a force sensitive resistor with a round, 0.5" diameter, sensing area. This FSR will vary its resistance depending on how much pressure is being applied to the
sensing area. The harder the force, the lower the resistance. When no pressure is being applied to the FSR its resistance will be larger than 1M?. This FSR can sense applied force

anywhere in the range of 100g-10kg.

Two pins extend from the bottom of the sensor with 0.1" pitch making it bread board friendly. There is a peel-and-stick rubber backing on the other side of the sensing area to
mount the FSR.

These sensors are simple to set up and great for sensing pressure, but they aren't incredibly accurate. Use them to sense if it's being squeezed, but you may not want to use it as
a scale.

HEART BEAT

The Heart Beat Sensor provides a simple way to study the heart's function. This sensor monitors the flow of blood through Finger . As the heart forcesblood through the blood
Search
vessels in the Finger , the amount of blood in the Finger changes with time. The sensor shines a light lobe (small High Bright LED ) through the ear and measures the light that is
transmitted to LDR . The signal is amplified, inverted and filtered, in the Circuit .By graphing this signal, the heart rate can be determined, and some details of the pumping action
of the heart can be seen on the graph

Figure 2. A sample measurement taken with the heartbeat sensor.

Figure 2 shows that the blood flowing through the Finger rises at the start of the heartbeat. This is caused by the contraction of the ventricles forcing blood into the arteries. Soon
after the first peak a second, smaller peak is observed. This is caused by the shutting of the heart valve, at the end of the active phase, which raises the pressure in the arteries
and the earlobe.

HALL EFFECT SENSOR

SENSORS

Hall Effect Sensors are sometimes referred to as “switches” rather than sensors because of the on-off “digital” voltage signal they produce. Unlike magnetic sensors that produce
an alternating current (AC) signal which varies in voltage with speed, Hall Effec - tSensors produce a constant voltage signal that can change abruptly from maximum voltage to
nearly zero and back again regardless of engine speed. This produces a square wave output signal that can be easily used by the onboard computer for timing purposes.

How does it work ?

A Hall IC switch is OFF with no magnetic field and ON in the presence of a magnetic field, as seen in above diagram.

1. The Earth's field will not operate a Hall IC Switch, but a common refrigerator magnet will provide sufficient strength
to actuate the sensor.

Magnetic Door Sensor – How It Works

Iron Door Magnetic Sensor MC-58. Monitoring the door switch state, output alarm switch signal. For installed in the door or window.

How it Works

The two magnets included in the sensor are placed a short distance apart. One of the magnets is placed on the door, while the other is usually placed on the door frame. The
magnets need to be spaced properly, in order to ensure that they have a magnetic connection. The sensor monitors the integrity of the connection between the two spaced
magnets. If that connection is broken, the sensor is triggered, and a signal is sent back to the control panel, which is processed as an alert.

Magnetic Door Locks

Door locks are certainly considered to be the basic modes of the everyday household door and keeping this fact in mind, door locks hold an immense importance for the
protection of doors. Since door locks are meant for the security of the doors and people now prefer high end door locks thus, devices like the magnetic door lock came into
creation. These locks are often also known as electromagnetic door locks too.

While the magnetic door lock might be quite a simplistic locking device, but the efficiency of the locking gadget can certainly not be denied. It was in 1989 that the magnetic door
lock was invented and even though in comparison with the modern magnetic door locks it would not match up, yet for its time this device proved to be ideal for door locking and
still does. The earlier magnetic lock was known as the “shear locks”, but the magnetic door locks which are manufactured in present day are based on different principles and
mechanisms, known basically as the “direct pull”. Basically these magnetic door locks obviously work on the principles of electromagnetism, and mostly all of these locks work
with electricity, requiring DC currently essentially.

LOAD Cell - Weighing Scale

SENSORS

The heart of any weighing system is the load cell.Whilst they are not exciting to watch, load cells are highly accurate transducers which provides the user with information not
generally obtainable by other technology due to commercial factors. Load cells are designed to sense force or weight under a wide range of adverse conditions; they are not only
the most essential part of an electronic weighing system, but also the most vulnerable. In order to get the most benefit from the load cell, the user must have a
thorough understanding of the technology, construction and operation of this unique device. In addition, it is imperative that the user selects the correct load cell for the
application and provide the necessary care for the load cell during its lifetime. Understanding these important issues and properly maintaining the load cells will ensure trouble
free weighing for a long period of time.

current flowing through this conduction path generates a magnetic field which is sensed by the integrated Hall IC and converted into a proportional voltage. By Winson

Blood Pressure Monitoring with Analoug Data

What Is Blood Pressure? - Sphygmomanometer

Blood pressure is the force of blood against the walls of arteries. Blood pressure is recorded as two numbers—the systolic pressure (as the heart beats) over the diastolic pressure
(as the heart relaxes between beats). The measurement is written one above or before the other, with the systolic number on top and the diastolic number on the bottom. For
example, a blood pressure measurement of 120/80 mmHg (millimeters of mercury) is expressed verbally as "120 over 80."

How it Works

In this System we are not using Full Sphygmomanometer ,Half part only , Remaining Electronics parts Which creates analoug O/p As per Incresing the AIR ,

SOIL MOISTURE SENSOR

SENSORS

Soil moisture sensor

Soil moisture sensors measure the water content in soil. A soil moisture probe is made up of multiple soil moisture sensors.

This Soil Moisture Sensor can be used to detect the moisture of soil or judge if there is water around the sensor, let the plants in your garden reach out for human help.Insert this
module into the soil and then adjust the on-board potentiometer to adjust the sensitivity. The sensor would outputs logic HIGH/LOW when the moisture is higher/lower than the
threshold set by the potentiometer. With help of this sensor, it will be realizable to make the plant remind you : Hey, I am thirsty now, please give me some water.

Vibration motors
SENSORS

vibration motors, also commonly known as pager motors; Used by mobile / cell phone and pager manufacturers worldwide to offer vibration alert ringing functions, this range of
pager motors are now being used by a wide range of industrial designers.Mobile phones have popularised vibration feedback as a way of alerting the users of events (e.g. that
their phone was ringing).

Industrial equipment is often used in environments where seeing or hearing a visual or audio alert can be difficult. Micro pager motors can be integrated into a design so that
equipment operators and users can rely on a third sense - touch.

Thermoelectric cooling - PELTIER

SENSORS

Thermoelectric cooling uses the Peltier effect to create a heat flux between the junction of two different types of materials. A Peltier cooler, heater, or thermoelectric heat pump is
a solid-state active heat pump which transfers heat from one side of the device to the other, with consumption of electrical energy, depending on the direction of the current.
Such an instrument is also called a Peltier device, Peltier heat pump, solid state refrigerator, or thermoelectric cooler (TEC). They can be used either for heating or for cooling
(refrigeration), although in practice the main application is cooling. It can also be used as a temperature controller that either heats or cools.[1]

This technology is far less commonly applied to refrigeration than vapor-compression refrigeration is. The main advantages of a Peltier cooler (compared to a vapor-compression
refrigerator) are its lack of moving parts or circulating liquid, and its small size and flexible shape (form factor). Its main disadvantage is that it cannot simultaneously have low
cost and high power efficiency. Many researchers and companies are trying to develop Peltier coolers that are both cheap and efficient. (See Thermoelectric materials.)

A Peltier cooler can also be used as a thermoelectric generator. When operated as a cooler, a voltage is applied across the device, and as a result, a difference in temperature will
build up between the two sides.[2] When operated as a generator, one side of the device is heated to a temperature greater than the other side, and as a result, a difference in
voltage will build up between the two sides (the Seebeck effect). However, a well-designed Peltier cooler will be a mediocre thermoelectric generator and vice-versa, due to
different design and packaging requirements.
