Overview of Christianity
Christianity is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion.
Christianity was created by Jesus Christ in Israel nearly 2,000

years ago.
Christianity focuses on the role of Jesus, the Holy Bible and the

Churches.
The Philippines proudly boasts to be the only Christian nation

in Asia

The spread of Christianity to the Philippines


In the 1500s, Spain had seized the Philippines, Catholic missionaries

spread Christianity among the Filipinos.


In general, the majority of Filipinos identify as Christian at a rate of

about 92.5%.
Christianity is also practiced through important traditions: Christmas,

Lent, All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day, the Flores de Mayo
