Happy Spring!
Spring is finally here! Take advantage of the warm weather to get outside
and get moving!!! There are endless things to do outside. Practice tying
up those shoe laces, climbing on your bike or playing tag with friends.

Quick and Easy Motor Activity

OT Activity PT Activity
Snipping straws and stringing onto Bubbles! Here are some ways to play
shoelace or pipe cleaner inside or outside:

● Blowing the bubbles from wand

● Remember to use a thumbs-up grasp
on scissors
● Cutting straws provides resistance
and increases hand strength
● Cutting and stringing works on
bilateral motor coordination
● Practice tying the string into a
knot--this will help with shoe tying!
● Blow bubbles floating in the air
● Pop by clapping hands
● Pop by stomping
● Kick bubbles in a crab position
● Poke bubbles with pointer finger
● Catch bubble on wand
