For selection to the post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant) for MGVCL, Computer Based
Test was conducted on dt. 09.12.2020 and dt. 10.12.2020 at various centres in the State

The candidates at Merit No. (303), (310), (312), (483) and (1117) are selected subject
to production of Domicile Certificate. In case these candidates do not produce domicile
certificate, they shall be considered against 15% quota under the State Government
Domicile Policy.

The candidates are selected based on their declaration of scoring 55% in final year of
graduation as per result sheet submitted by them and also based on clarification given
by concerned Institute/College/University where the candidates have completed their
graduation on having secured more than 55% in final year of graduation by the said
candidates.

The candidates at Merit No. (308), (314), (326), (334), (336), (337), (349), (358), (364),
(369), (380), (409), (467), (487), (490), (491), (494), (495), (496), (501), (504), (1070)
and (1104) have not attended the document verification process. Hence, they shall be
again called for document verification process by the allotted circle/corporate office.

They shall be given appointment only after satisfactory verification of their testimonials
and on clear eligibility for the post of Vidyut Sahayak Junior Assistant.

The candidates at Merit No. (363) and (378) have not submitted Degree Certificate.

They are selected subject to production of Degree Certificate. In case if copy of Original
Degree Certificate is not available, appointment may be issued based on Provisional
Degree Certificate.

The above selection is done considering 33 % reservation for women. The cut – off marks
compared to male candidates is reduced for maintaining 33 % reservation for women
up to the required women candidates available to maintain 33 % reservation.

There are many candidates who have scored identical marks. As per the provisions of
GSO-156, these candidates have been selected in order of their date of birth i.e. the
older candidates have been placed ahead of younger ones and subsequently, on the
basis of alphabetical order of their first name.

The roster category candidates who have not been given relaxation in upper age limit
are shown as meritorious candidates till the requirement of unreserved category

candidates is fulfilled. The roster category candidates who have been given relaxation
in age have been appointed against their respective roster category.

The candidates shall be called for document verification process first in the coming
week and only on satisfactory completion of document verification process, they may
be appointed to the post of Vidyut Sahayak Junior Assistant by the respective circles.

They shall be called in batches by observing COVID – 19 appropriate behavior. Adequate

arrangements for liquid hand sanitizers shall be made at the centre.

The Vidyut Sahayak period shall be for five years and their seniority shall be maintained
as per provisions of GUVNL Circular No. GUVNL/HR/1480 dtd. 05.07.2018.

The result shall be valid for the period of one year from the date of publication of result
i.e. upto Date: 08.03.2022.
