4 Beliefs in Teaching and Learning Pre
I believe learning is a necessary, continuous, and life-long process. Learners must also
be able to express their passion to learn and view all interactions as opportunities to teach and
learn. I also believe that learning is a process of making sense of the world, so we should be
concerned with concept development and recognize that concepts are built and subject to
question or modification. Because each learner is unique and responsible for their own learning,
we must identify and adapt to individual differences and learning styles. As a future teacher, we
also must show compassion and empathy for each learner, as well as incorporating and
enhancing the participation of students with different skills and backgrounds. Learning as well
with new experiences, information, and settings. To do so, we must look for ways to draw on
learners' diverse personal, social, and cultural experience, knowledge, and abilities when
engaging in new learning. Learning is improved when students are aware of how they think and
learn which gives them more control over their learning. That’s why we must clearly teach
