It is important to know the context of 19th century Philippines because the circumstances
could explain the time, place,and the people or the overarching ideas presented during that
time and to know where the various reforms were being implemented in the country. Lastly, to
further understand the formation of rizal's personality and conciousness.

2. How do we situate Rizal's life in the context of 19th century Philippines?

Tying rizal biography to his context enables us to situate and relate the development of his
conciousness and ideals with the relevant event that happen during his life time. Mapping
rizals travels gives us the glimpse of the places and the different cultures and individuals that
Rizal was able to encounter during the 19th century.

1. From whom and where did rizal get his love for learning?

- His love for learning began with his mother who had a library of about a thousand books;
besides, she had been a person who had a heart for others even beyond her family. His mother
was his first teacher, and from her he learned to read, and consequently to value reading and
lesson as a means for learning and spending one's time meaningfully.

- Rizal display his love for his family and education in this work through remembering and
dedicating his writings to his family and education. writing his memorias of his experiences as
a students in manila and highlights his childhood which is about his family specifically the death
of his sister, the imprisonment of his beloved mother and this first love and his days.

1. Why it is important to consider people and situations that inspire, influence and motivate the
actions of certain individuals?

- Without the influence of others we cannot improve and develop ourselves. And without the
help of other we are nothing. It is important to consider people and situations that inspire,
influence and motivate the actions of certain individuals because it can help us to boast our
eagerness to do our best and workhard to achieve what we desire, be motivated and be
inspired to do things we wanted to do. It can also influence us positivity and productive in life to
achieve our goals.

- The suffering of people in calamba affect Rizal's writings and political views by disconnecting
to the propaganda movement. He dissociated himself with the reform movement and took on a
more radical stance regarding the emancipation of the country. More than the internal politics
within the group, his main motivation why he no longer saw himself pushing for reforms was
the sufferings experienced by the tenants of calamba and his family.

1. How did rizal showcase his talents especially in Dapitan?

Rizal showcase his talents especially Dapitan by helping people to improve their quality of life,
he established a school where he taught and spreads history, writings and learning to the young
children in Dapitan. He actively engage in different civic duties and interprises and Rizal
showed the importance of learning and exploring new set of skills.

2. What is the importance of continuous learning and personal growth?

- It is importance to have a continuous learming and personal growth because through learning
and personal growth we can discover and acquire new skills that will help to create changes in
the environment and produce new development . Sometimes success can be achieve if we let
ourselves grow. Learning, as they say, is a never-ending process it is very crucial for people to
attain their full potential and make theirselves as their best version
