Class 1

1.- Greet the students, say some rules, speak a bit about the course and ESP.

2.- Show the Programme. Include dates/weeks

3.- In pair ask students to ask questions to the partner and write their answers.
Name: What`s your name
Origen: Where are you from?
Age: How old are you?
Family: Do you have Brothers or sister?, Ask for their names, their age.
Pets:
Sports
Likes and dislikes.

4.- Now put 2 pairs of students and ask them to introduce their classmates (in the group
of four) give them more or less 5 minutes to speak.

5. Write words on the board about you and they have to ask questions to guess why I
wrote those words. They ask questions that I can only answer yes or no. For example:
I write: Bongo, 8 Years, Theo etc. so they ask: Do you play “Bongo”. I say, no I don’t,
another student may ask: Is Bongo your pet?, and I say, yes, he is. And so on……

7.- Use PPT (el de la Izquia) (te adjunto). Show 1 picture and the information. And ask
them questions: what is her name?, what does she do?, how old is she?, How do you spell
her last name etc. And continue with the next one.

8.- Then show the other PPT and live the first slide on the board and in pairs again they
ask question about the person.
