Eligible athletes shall be those who were born on January (11, 2007 or after for elementary level and January 01, 2002 or after for secondary level. . The following documents should be submitted to the screening committee on November 19, 2019. during the meeting of coaches and officials at Division Heroes’ Halll at 3:00 P.M. a. Allconcerned are hereby enjoined to comply strictly with the mandate of Regional Memorandum No. 13,s. 2000 entitled Rating of School Athletes and Division Memo no. 143, s. 2019 entitled Calendar of Activities for School Sports SY 2019-2020 . Attached are copies of the said Memorandums for your reference. 8. Transportation of officials, transportation, meals and snacks of athletes and coaches, shall be charged. against school MOOE, or other school funds while uniform, meals and snack of officials shall be charged against SEF subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. 9, Attached herewith is the List of Delegation and Officiating Officials. 10. Universities 1, All. concerned are hereby enjoined to comply strictly with the mandates of Education Act of 1982 Rulle IH, Section 3 (¢) that teachers shall: "refrain from making deductions in the scholastic rating of Pupils or students, for any act that is clearly not a manifestation of poor scholarship". 2. On the same basis, teachers or any other schoo! officials threatening their pupils or students by indiscriminately deducting or refusing to give them gradea/ ratings while at the same time allowing them to participate in sports competitions shall be held responsible Special assistance should be given to pupils/ students who are representing their schools during sports competitions by giving them advanced lessons, special tests, self learning modules, and the like to help them catch up with their lessons. Being representatives of their respective schools, districts, school divisions, these Pupils’ students deserve special assistance and other ingemtives in the form of awards, materials or financial assistance, and others. ii 5. To forestall conflicts between schoo! and community it serves, it is advised that athletes be selected not only on the basis of their athletic prowess but also taking into consideration their ability to catch up with missed lessons. All concerned are hereby enjoined to comply strictly with the attached Regional Memorandum. No. 13, S, 2009 entitled “Rating of School Athletes”. All subject teachers are encouraged to give the learner-athletes due consideration in all written tests, activities, performance tasks on the dates that they are out on training and competitions. It has been an agreement that the grades of the concerned athletes must be retained or increased. 3, For the conduct of Schoo! Sports activities for S.Y. 2019-2020, the attached inclosure will guide the School Administrators in holding their sports program and other activities. 4, Eligible or qualified athletes are those who were born in 2007 or after for elementary, and 2002 or after for secondary.
