Sir,
In context to subject cited above, I am directed to state that Medical Council of India, New
Delhi vide its letter dtd. 09/07/2019 has introduced online course in "Basic Course in Biomedical
Research for all Medical Post Graduate students in the Country. Accordingly, the online "Basic
Course in Biomedical Research" course is mandatory for all Post Graduate students being
admitted from the A.Y 2019-20 & onwards. University vide its circular dtd. 15/07/2019 has
informed all students to enroll for said course.
In this context, University is in receipt of Letter from Maharashtra State Association of
Resident Doctors dtd. 25/03/2022, stating that, due to Covid pandemic around 120 residents
(those who are going to appear in Summer 2022 Examination) were unable to enroll for "Basic
Course in Biomedical Research" course due to which they can not appear for summer 2022
Examination.
Hence, I request you to kindly declare cycle 6 of "Basic Course in Biomedical Research"
course so that remaining PG students can enroll for said course and subsequently can appear
for summer 2022 examination.
