Whait is faith?

Faith is strong belief in God or in the

doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual
apprehension rather than proof.

Faith is a grace or gift from God that

makes it possible to gain some
understanding of all that he has revealed
to us, including the totality of his plan as
well as the many mysteries of faith.

"Now faith is the assurance of things

hoped for, the conviction of things not
seen." Hebrews 11:1

"That your faith might not rest in the

wisdom of men but in the power of God."
1 Corinthians 2:5

How do we acquire faith?

Faith does not come by praying for it,

fasting for it, or having someone lay hands
on you to bestow it. It only comes from
hearing God's Word. And once you hear it,
you still must make a decision to believe it
