2. Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide prospective Cybersecurity Academy partners with the process
for faculty to self-enroll in the evaluation Moodle courses for the purpose of review for inclusion in their
degree programs.

3. Institution Eligibility
Institutions must be accredited, degree-granting institutions of higher education to be eligible to have
faculty self-enroll in the evaluation Moodle courses for limited review.

4. Available PANW Academic Track Moodle Courses

Palo Alto Networks reserves the right to modify the list of eligible PANW courses at its discretion.

The Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Academy evaluation Moodle courses are intended only for
prospective institutions and their faculty. No unauthorized distribution and/or public web-posting of these
universal Moodle courses is permitted.

5. Evaluation Moodle Course Process

a. To get started, create a new PANW Moodle account at paloaltonetworksacademy.net .
 i. NOTE: You will need to use your institution email address (typically ending in .edu or
regional equivalent) to be granted access to the Moodle site.
b. Visit the Moodle course link you want to evaluate and enter the password provided. Then
click the “Enroll Me” button.
c. The types of activities in each Moodle course typically includes:
i. Pre-tests
ii. Module Quizzes / Assessments
iii. Lab Assignments / Assessments
iv. Final Assignments
v. Final Exams
vi. Post-Tests
vii. Course Surveys
