EXAMINATION FORMAT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH DOCTOR (OHD)

1. Objective
Upon successful completion of the programme and passing of the examination, the participant is eligible to be registered with the
Department of Occupational Safety and Health as an Occupational Health Doctor (OHD).

2. Entry Requirement
2.1. Fully registered medical practitioner with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC); AND
2.2. New candidates must complete the Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) course conducted by NIOSH or other approved training
providers appointed by DOSH.
2.3. Repeat candidates who had exhausted examination attempts as in para 6 must re-complete the Occupational Health Doctor
(OHD) course conducted by NIOSH or other approved training providers appointed by DOSH.

3. Examination Requirement
Candidates are required to sit for the Occupational Health Doctor examination within one (1) year upon completion of the course.

* Effective for examination on December 2020.

5. Languages
All questions are presented in English. Candidates are required to answer all questions in English.

6. Re-sit Exam
Candidates are allowed to re-sit the examination for each paper for a maximum of FOUR (4) attempts within TWO (2) years after the
first attempt.

7. Certification
A certificate of qualification will be awarded to candidate once candidate has passed both papers.
