Vdocuments - MX Dag Command Line Manual V 2 Dag Command Line Manual V 21 Dinstar Technologies
This is a document for some customers who need more details of Dinstar’s products with
command lines. To make sure the system runs successfully, we suggest customers setting DAG
by GUI. In this manual, some topics such as how to check the IP, signaling and call conversation
are covered.
Run system tool Telnet to login DAG. The default username and password is "admin".
C:\Users\Administrator>telnet 172.16.101.142
Abbreviation is supported in DAG command. For example you can input "en" substitute for
"enable", input "sh" substitute for "show", input "cl" substitute for "clock",
There is only a litter commans in "ROS>" mode. If you need more commands you must enter
the "ROS#" mode. Input "enable" to enter "ROS#" mode if you have in the "ROS>" mode.
2.1 Summarize of commands in "ROS#" mode
Commad format:
Load down filetype filename tftp/ftp serverIP servicePort
(3) Save the configuration (save)
The command is deb port + port No (0,1,2…. all represent all ports)
deb port 0 represent port 0
SD log is help to output detailed message of physical interface, such as dialed number digits,
FXS/FXO offhook/onhook status, flash event etc.

7.1. Connect COM port of your desktop computer with the CONSOLE port of the DWG.
7.2 Make sure COM port connect well , you can check in the Windows Computer
Management
7.3 Set COM port access tools , here use PUTTY as a example ,
You can download PUTTY here
http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe
COM port number must keep the same with the number you see in step 2 , here is <COM
2 >,
Rate bit is <115200 > , Flow control set to <None>
After setting the software , you can click <open> to enter the Command shell of DWG.
7.4 Modify IP via COM port access .
