Dear Parents/Guardians,

SINGA MATH Competition 2021 - Secondary Division

We are glad to inform you that the SINGA MATH Global Assessment will hold its first round
of competition from 28- 31 May 2021 online.

SINGA MATH Global Assessment is a new international Singapore Mathematics assessment

for grade K2 – Grade 10/11 written by TOP Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) teachers
and is offered to every country in the world. SINGA Math will be the standard to measure
students’ abilities and inform teachers with valuable formative and summative assessment
data to improve teaching and learning.

Top 40% scorers will be invited to the next round, SINGA Global Finals and an opportunity to
the STEAM AHEAD – IJMO (International Junior Math Olympiad).

This online assessment measures the student’s Mathematics foundation at the year before
their current level. Each participant will receive an e-certificate of participation.

The assessment is done online. In order to join the competition, each participant must:
· have a PC (Personal Computer) or laptop at home
· have a stabilized and stable internet connection
· be able to use Zoom and Google form independently
· use his/her full name in a Zoom account

We will share other assessment rules and procedures with you as soon as we get updates
from the organisers.
