Plastic Water Bottles

The meaning of a bottle is portable container for holding liquids, characteristically having a neck
and mouth and made of glass or plastic. The bottle has been the object has any liquids carried to
the vital fluid, water.
The perception that water was, before the introduction and implementation of the plastic was a trust
existing faucet which in turn was supported by the glassware. This perception of water soon had
success with in the area and later for wine production and marketing of any liquid, the
implementation of liquid glass bottles was soon acquired by big companies like Coca-Cola, PepsiCo
among others, in the early 20's, companies later realized that the process of collection, production
and maintenance of this material was much more expensive in the food industry.
In 1947 plastic bottles were developed, but were much more expensive. In 1960 he invented the
high-density polyethylene, cheaper, lighter and this material was released in all the pharmaceutical
and soon in the water industry, where large companies would soon be benefiting economically. But
they realized that too much of this innovative material and perception of bottled water have red
figures on the environment and soon to be a debate in the World Water Day is celebrated every
March 22 since 1992, the controversy surrounding the use Bottled water is not new, but in recent
years the discussion was growing so much that some people say that in a short time, drinking
bottled water will have an image equivalent to smoking.
Discovery Channel and The International Bottled Water Association, show the following figures:
37 '000' 000'000 water bottles are sold annually in the United States only. It recycles less than 15%.

25. 000 used plastic bottles and filled with sand were used by a Bolivian environmental group to
build house walls 1 '500'00'000'000 barrels of oil just enough to equal the pollution generated by the
global production of plastic bottles annually.
In 2008, CNN published online expansion concerning the bottled water industry: “En el país se
consumen unos 15,000 millones de litros de agua embotellada y casi 14,000 millones en garrafón
al año”.
I invite have a conscience in the consumption of bottled water, where the perception of "health" has
to be consistent in the environment that live.
