1. A vision statement conveys the institution's desire to succeed. What is your school's vision
statement and how can you help your school to achieve it?

Iligan Medical Center College's Vision

"A leading private non-sectarian professional institution producing holistic, productive and
globally competent graduates in various medical-related fields and other disciplines."

With the IMCC's vision in mind, as a student at IMCC, I will practice being
competent, holistic, and productive so that in the near future, I can be an example of a
holistic, productive, and globally competent graduate. Having the knowledge and skills and
mastering your desired course is a way to help IMCC's vision achieve its goal. I will succeed
in order to assist IMCC in achieving its vision.

2. A mission statement is a short explanation of the institution's purpose and intention for
existence. State your school's mission and explain how you can contribute to its success.

IMCC's Mission
"To provide high quality education to all students through the utilization of advanced
technology for intensive instruction, research and extension."
As an IMCC student, I can contribute to the mission and success of the school by
promoting and implementing the college's high-quality education, conducting research, and
being knowledgeable about the college's advanced technology. Furthermore, participating in
the class and being competent demonstrates a high quality education, and by doing so, I can
contribute to the success of the school's mission.

3. A value statement is composed of core principles that focus on the institution and its
culture. List down the core values of your school and explain how you will imbibe these
institutional core values.

The IMCC Core Values are holistic, productive and globally competent graduates.
To instill these three IMCC core values, Firstly Holistic. It's a method that aims to
fully activate all aspects of the learner's personality. To embrace the value of being holistic, I
must be intelligent enough to activate my emotions, imagination, and body for more effective
and comprehensive learning.
Second, we must be productive. Being productive or efficient is an important aspect
of a student's personality. To absorb this value for myself, I must be the most efficient in
achieving my objectives. In addition, I must be efficient enough to meet the challenges and
tasks required to achieve my goals and aspirations.
Lastly, we have competent graduates. To be able to imbibe this value, I must gather all
the knowledge and skills that I have learned to be able to become a competent graduate. With
all the help of the advanced technology and high-quality education offered by IMCC, a
student will graduate with competence.

4. Ponder on the vision, mission, core values, and objectives of the College of Medical
Laboratory Science of your school. How will these statements help you become a successful
scientist?

Our college Vision is to produce holistic and productive Medical Technologists With
the core Values of IMCC as trademark, who are responsive and competent to demands for
manpower in the paramedical service. With the Mission to provide a venue for high quality
education of all Medical Technology students, through the utilization of advanced technology,
intensive instruction, research, and extension.
To develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills of our graduates in the performance of clinical
laboratory procedures needed to help the physician in the proper diagnosis, treatment,
prognosis, and prevention of diseases. To develop skills in critical and analytical thinking in
the field of Medical Technology and contribute to the challenges of the profession; To
develop leadership skills and to promote competence and excellence, and; Uphold moral and
ethical values in the service of society and in the practice of the Medical Technology
profession.
