illustrious multi-national conglomerate, the Tata group, it offers a wide and diverse
portfolio of cars, sports utility vehicles, trucks, buses and defence vehicles to the
world.

Jaguar Land Rover Ltd.

Tata Motors Ltd (TML) bought British iconic brands Jaguar & Land Rover from
Ford in 2008 and merged them together in 2013 to form one unified company.  The
company is aimed at addressing the fundamental challenges that will ensure JLR's
sustainable and successful future. In FY20, Land Rover accounted for 74% of sales
of the JLR and the rest 26% sales were contributed by Jaguar brand
automobiles.  JLR is the major contributor to TML's sales and it accounted for almost
80% sales of the group in FY20.

Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Co. Ltd

In 2004, the company acquired Korea’s second largest truck maker Daewoo Commercial
Vehicles. Today, it has emerged as a global player in the comprehensive commercial
vehicle sector and it exports to more than 60 countries. It is working with TML to
simultaneously grow into global market leaders.

Leadership position in India's CV Industry.

TML is a formidable player in the CV segment in India and offers a broad portfolio of
automotive products including trucks, buses, coaches and defence vehicles. It is the
leading player in the CV segment, with a market share of 43.0% during FY20.

Geographical Revenue Breakup

Due to JLR, Tata Motors has global presence in major markets and no single market
contributes to more than 20% of its revenues. In FY20, North America was the major
contributor with 20% of revenues, followed by India (17.8%), United Kingdom (16.3%),
China (11.4%), Rest of Europe (16.6%) and the rest of the world accounted for 17.8% of
revenues.

Sustainable Mobility Solutions

Both Tata Motors and JLR are working towards their electrification journey. Today, Tata
Motors is the leader in the EV segment in India with its automobiles Tigor EV and Nexon
EV. It managed to sell 2,600 units of its EVs in 2020 which translated into a 63% market
share.
