1) Objective: Bar diagram of the procurement of Rice

3) Excel Options: Insert > Pivot Table, Insert>Insert column Bar chart
4) Procedure:

 Select the cells you want to create a PivotTable from.

 Select Insert > PivotTable.

 Under Choose the data that you want to analyze, select Select a table or

range. 

 In Table/Range, verify the cell range.

 Under Choose where you want the PivotTable report to be placed,

select New worksheet to place the PivotTable in a new worksheet or Existing
worksheet and then select the location you want the PivotTable to appear.

 Select OK.

 To add a field to your PivotTable, select the field name checkbox in

the PivotTables Fields pane.

 To move a field from one area to another, drag the field to the target area. (Rows,
Values)

BAR DIAGRAM
  To insert a bar chart in Microsoft Excel, open your Excel workbook and select
your data. You can do this manually using your mouse, or you can select a cell in
your range and press Ctrl+A to select the data automatically.
 Once your data is selected, click Insert > Insert Column or Bar Chart.
 Various column charts are available, but to insert a standard bar chart, click the
“Clustered Chart” option. This chart is the first icon listed under the “2-D Column”
section.
 Excel will automatically take the data from your data set to create the chart on
the same worksheet, using your column labels to set axis and chart titles. You
can move or resize the chart to another position on the same worksheet, or cut or
copy the chart to another worksheet or workbook file.

6) Results and Interpretation:

In this Bar diagram we represent years on x-axis and the procurement
of Rice on y-axis.
We can conclude from the above table that: -
 The procurement of Rice was the highest in 2003 and lowest in
2002.
