ABSTRACT

Railway Crossing is considered one of the dangerous points in rail network.

Increasing train speed and growing of road vehicle cased the number of accident in
developing countries. Different railways have defined some scientific & experimental
approaches to determine risks of danger in crossing point, on the basis of which they
have recognized the priority of upgrading, equipping and eliminating crossing.

So this study is dedicated to make an automatic railway crossing gate for reduce the
accidents and for more accurate system.

Introduction
RAILWAY STATION

Travel is a major contributor to our environmental footprint. Increasing the level of

public transport use is therefore an important goal. It is here that the Swedish
Transport Administration has both a general social responsibility and a responsibility
for facilities in the traffic system that encourages more and better use of public
transport system. How they work and are experienced by travelers affects the
development of public transport.

The way we travel is changing, and this has a knock-on effect on station functions.
As labour market regions become larger, commuting and daily travel have taken on
a greater significance where stations acts as hubs. Physical travel is also being
affected by the digital revolution. Much of the Service and Information that used to be
given by station staff have now been replaced by virtual functions in computers or
mobile devices. Modern Travel assumes that travelers can manage on their own.
This increases the need of the physical reality of a station to be clear, and perceived
as attractive to travelers regardless of the nature of their journey. The Swedish
Transport Administration has a well-defined role in stations. This includes
responsibility for and the equipping of platforms and platforms connections, as well
as the provision of the provision of information. The responsibilities that fall within the
preview of the Swedish Transport Administration with regards to these sites and
functions are specified in a number of different guidelines.travel is major contributor
to our environmental footprint. Railway stations are important modes in any transport
system. How they work and are experienced by travelers affects the development of
public transport.

Story Boarding
Happy Story
Once I was at Railway Station to receive my Family friend, I was totally shocked
because the Railway Station was so clean and I’ve never heard about cleanliness of Railway
Station. I had negative thinking about railway station but I was wrong. It was just like
unbelievable for me and the public were also sat in peace and to buy tickets was also in
proper line.

Happy Story
Once I noticed one thing at that time one person came in hurry and he was late the
train was about to come but he was lucky that there was no line in ticket window, so he
easily got the ticket, he was so happy that he got the ticket on time and finally sat in train
and take deep breath. Everyone noticed that person and when he sat in train, everyone
were happy to see him sat in train.

Sad Story

Once I noticed one thing at railway station that senior citizen was asking about the
time of train and which trail will go the Mumbai. The person who sat in inquiry office was so
rude to him and didn’t gave proper information, because Once of improper information,
that senior citizen sat in wrong train and when he got to know that to know that he tried to
jump train and got injured.

Sad Story
Once I noticed one thing at railway station that, one man came to the station on
right time. He saw that train has already left to the station and there was no announcement
of that train and doesn’t saw the information of next train.

CONCLUSION
By Using this system we can easily control the traffic and it is the time saving system. There
is no need of operator for this system. Automated working of railway crossing will reduce
human efforts & prevent the number of accidents.
