To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Mr. Caleb Gil and it is a pleasure and privilege to do so. I
became acquainted with Caleb this year, as he is a student in my English class. He is highly
motivated, organized and very responsible. He works hard to maintain his GPA and he rarely
misses a day of school.

Caleb has a warm and genuine personality and has been able to communicate and work well with
others. He demonstrates his competence, energy and commitment to others in every task he
undertakes. He knows how to be authoritative in a direct, but respectful manner. He has excellent
communication skills with his peers as well as the ability to effectively communicate with his
teachers which is always appreciated. Caleb’s goal after high school is to begin working
immediately. His positive attitude will guide him on the course of success and I have no doubt
that he will be successful in his future endeavors.

Caleb’s motivation in the academic arena as well as in his personal life is impressive and it
shows in everything he does. I believe that Caleb should be at the top of any group of applicants
when being considered for a scholarship or job. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you should
