Mounting Frame Rafter Bending Moment Diagrams

Notes:
1. Wind load and cold-formed steel design conform to Indian Codes IS:875 and IS:801 respectively.
2. Demand / Capacity ratio should be restricted to 0.66 considering 33% permissible increase for dead+wind load combination and increased pressure per Table 8 note.
3. All modifiers Cb, Cm and K are taken as 1 except for Kx for columns which is calculated automatically
4. All members are single lipped channels
5. Enter data in blue cells
6. This design assumes two rows of panels in portrait orientation
7. Results should be rechecked by a proof engineer
8. Please do not resize or relocate the charts
9. IS:801 does not account for distortional buckling and local buckling under stress gradient so avoid high strength steel and large w/t ratios
