NO. 18, ROCHESTER GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

This hole has changed. Big time. For decades, trees lined both sides
the length of the hole. Now most all the trees are gone, even the
monstrously huge tree that protected the front right of the green

that tree induced the past 50 years ... let’s go with 10 million. A
conservative estimate. But don’t be thinking the home hole at RGCC
is a piece of cake now. Anything but. Severe sloped lies in the fairway

NO. 9, OAK SUMMIT GC


The signature hole at Oak Summit and a monster par 3. It measures
222 yards from the back tee, and plays over a valley of trees on the
WEEKDAY GOLF SPECIAL right and left. Most tee shots come up short. Now you’ve got a pitch
straight uphill to a green with lots of break. Lots of doubles and triple

green. Miss left and well ... nice knowing you. Bail out your approach
shot to the right and you’re going to wish you had a 70-degree sand
wedge. Even so, you’re still making bogey.
