Goal: Skilled Teachers

In the 2021-2022 school years, teachers will be able to build on their current knowledge of
classroom technology with other available resources and tools. They will become fluent in digital
tools in and outside of county mandated resources and tools.

Evaluation Method: Success Indicator:

Goal: Instructional Change
In the 2021-2022 school year, teachers will improve blended learning practices by implementing
Nearpod, Microsoft Office 365 Canvas modules, and/or Studies Weekly in a minimum of one lesson
per month. Blended learning is defined as, “blended learning is any formal education program in
which a student learns at least in part through online learning, with some element of student control
over time, place, path, and/or pace” (Maxwell, 2016). This will help teachers implement ISTE
standards.

Evaluation Method: Success Indicator:

- Lesson plans 90% of teachers will demonstrate blended
- TKES observations learning in their instruction through the use of
selected digital tools.

Goal: Student Focused
In the 2021-2022 school year, students will participate in technology learning activities that are
aligned to ISTE standards in order to increase digital literacy and work towards Digital Citizenship.
According to the SWOT Analysis, ISTE standards are not currently prioritized or utilized in the
classroom, therefore, it is important for teachers to become familiar with these standards and
include them within lesson plans and instructional activities.
Evaluation Method: Success Indicator:

In the 2021-2022 school year, a diverse group of students chosen by the teachers in each grade level
will participate in a Digital Citizenship Lunch-Bunch Club. This club will promote safe internet
practices, teach students about different digital tools, and complete unique projects. The goal of this
club is to provide low SES students and girls the opportunity to explore digital tools and have
