Compact Burner
The Halliburton Compact Burner has four nozzle ports.
The nozzles atomize the oil as it exits the burner.
The fixed orifice type nozzle has orifices that direct oil
through a swirl chamber. The oil is atomized as it exits.
An external air blast enhances the atomization process.
The combination of the swirl and the air blast produces
the atomization necessary for the most efficient burn.
The burner can also accept internal air mix type
nozzles. These are limited to the lower flow rate
applications, but provide a more efficient burn at
those rates.
• Stable pilot assembly provides the reliable
ignition source.
• A rupture disc type safety head is located in the short
joint immediately upstream of the burner to protect
the system in the event of oil nozzle plug-off and
over-pressure.
• Operation of the assembly is simple.
Operation

Features and Benefits
• The burner is compact, which allows the use of a
minimal sized platform. Monitor oil pressure, water pressure, and air pressure
during the job.
• The assembly is easily serviced on the boom, or may
be carried to the rig for servicing.
