Opening
The first meeting of the Batu Ferringhi Community Library was called to order at 2:00 PM on
April 10th, 2022 at Cat, Book and Candles tutorials, 1-13C Eden Parade, 11100 Batu
Ferringhi.

Minutes

1. Welcome remarks by the chairman

The meeting started at 2:15 PM with the chairman welcoming all of the committee members
that are present. He expressed his hope that there will be a strong commitment by all the
members and a good cooperation for the benefit of this Community library.

2. Brief self-introductions of committee members.

All members present introduced themselves briefly.

4. Discussion about The Registry Of Societies Malaysia (ROS)

During the meeting, Kamalendran A/L Tanabalan said he will contact the registry of society
and look into the registration. Sinesh A/L Sourendaran was reminded that public relations
involves dealing with social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Quah Zhe Ken
said he will prepare the BFCL’S constitution. Kamalendran A/L Tanabalan also said he will
handle the sponsorship of books from Book Excess and Miss.Laura will handle the books
donations. Tentatively, the office for BFCL will be 1-13 C Eden Parade, 11100 Batu
Ferringhi.

5. Budget
Discuss about the cost of electricity, rental, WI-FI and staffing.

- Next to Ferringhi Inn (Ground Floor)
