I. RATIONALE
Instructional materials are primarily a medium for delivery of content; the teacher reiterates and
builds on the content. They are tools that help the teacher in effectively transferring knowledge from the
teacher to the students. As an effective and efficient facilitator of learning, we should have instructional
materials that will show innovation and integration to other learning areas.
Everyday lessons also need different approach and teaching strategies for the individual differences of
students; not only the instructional materials but also the way you will use and connect it to the students.
We are in the 21st century we’re the students are more motivated and interested to learn when the
instructional materials are in line in their wave length. In line with this, the power of technology will help
teachers to connect and make the students interested in the lesson.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the education field is producing a growing body of useful
resources to support student learning and well-being during school closures. It is a very challenging
situation to both teachers and students. The difficulty of explaining the lesson in a limited way of
communication and the lack of materials in every students home are just some of the hindrance in
implementing the lesson and the intructional materials in this pandemic situation.
We, Araling Panlipunan teachers mostly focused on arts and crafts activities that has always been a
favored medium to stimulate and develop creativity within students. Poster making and Slogan making
are the performance tasks we gave to our students. We used different rubrics as an assessment tool.
II. OBJECTIVES
The teacher will be able to:
a. Keeps herself relevant to the learning styles of the students;
b. Maintain the learner-centered instruction through the involvement of the students in the activities; and
