“A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE USE OF NEGOTIATED

PROCUREMENT FOR THE EMERGENCY PURCHASE OF FOOD SUPPLIES TO
BE GIVEN AS ASSISTANCE TO INDIGENT FAMILIES, PERSONS UNDER
MONITORING (PUMs) AND PERSONS UNDER INVESTIGATION (PUIs) OF
BARANGAY 4-PERPETUAL SUCCOR, THIS CITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE
NATIONWIDE DECLARATION OF STATE OF PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY
OVER COVID-19 THREAT”

WHEREAS, the Barangay Government of Barangay 4 – Perpetual Succor, City of Cabadbaran, Agusan del
Norte has intend to issue a quotation for the emergency purchase of food supplies needed for the indigent
families, PUMs and PUIs;

WHEREAS, the technical specification and documents were prepared in conformity to the requirement and pro-
form of document set by the Bids and Awards Committee found for three suppliers qualified such specification
as follows:

1. MARIENETH RICE AND CORN RETAILER Php 20,028.00

2. ABM STORE 20,472.00
3. DAN VINCENT STORE 20,472.00

WHEREAS, the emergency purchase of food supplies needed for the indigent families, PUMs and PUIs need
not to undergo PHILGEPS since it is an emergency purchase in connection with the COVID-19 threat;

NOW THEREFORE, it was resolved, as this committee is hereby resolved to recommend to the head of
procuring entity the use of negotiated procurement for the emergency purchase of food supplies needed for the
indigent families, PUMs and PUIs in connection with the nationwide declaration of state of public health
emergency over COVID-19 threat;

ADOPTED, this 29th day of June, 2021 at Barangay 4 – Perpetual Succor, City of Cabadbaran, Agusan del
Norte.
