1. Introduce any new vocabulary
using flashcards or toy food and
kitchen equipment.
2. Ask pupils what they think you
could make with all these different
foods. You could teach the words
‘ingredient’ and ‘recipe’.
3. Give pupils the stages of the
recipe. You can give each group a
complete set or you can give
individual pupils one stage. Ask
