INTRODUCTION:-
Aim of the Experiment is Synthesise of cuO nanoparticles
Using a Sol-gel process.
Transition method oxidize play crucial role in several area of
Physics chemistry and materials science Nano scale material
have tremendous interest in their unique thermal electrical
and optical properties. Copper oxide has great catalytic
activities which can be utilised in biosensors and
electrochemical super capacitor.
It can also be used as a catalyzed and semiconductor in solar
energy. In the present work copper oxide none of Nano
particles are Synthesise y using SOL gel process which is the
simple and low cost method. The Nano structure
semiconductor materials are very important because they
can be used in various application. The cuo nano particles P-
type semiconductor having the narrow band gaps of 1.8eV
which can be used in solar cells, gas sensors, catalysis and
magnetic storage media.
In the present study SOL gel method is used for synthesize
the copper oxide nano particles. Characterization of
nanoparticles is done by using XRD, UV-V absorption spectra
to find the particle size and energy band gap of
nanoparticles.

MATERIAL AND METHODS:-

Copper nitrate, weight machine, beaker , filter paper, sodium
hydroxide or ammonium hydroxide distilled water , magnetic
bends.
Weight machine is used to determines the amount of a
substance to be used.
Filter paper is used to filter the gel
Magnetic stirrer and magnetic bends are usually used in
mixture of the components.
Distilled water is used to remove impurities from a
salutation.
1

PROCEDURE:-
1. Weight 10gm of copper nitrate use a weighing balance
and add it into beaker
2. To that beaker at 30 ml of distil water which is latter
stirrer by a magnetic stirrer using a magnetic bead for
5min.
3. Now the precipitation agents are added the ratio of 1:1
to get a curdy blow solution.
4. Filter the solution with the help of a filter paper.
5. Now take the precipitation lift out in the filter paper into
hot air oven.
6. If the yield is good it is take for a calcination process
7. Finally copper oxide is formed.

APPLICATION:-
Copper oxide nano particles is widely used in a rocket
propellants as burning rate catalyzed. It greatly improve the
homogeneous properties burning rate and also performs
better as a catalyzed for a AP composite proponents. It will
also mainly utilised a and antimicrobial agents who can kill
more than 99.9% of germs positive and negative bacteria
within 2 hour expose under suitable dose. It is effective agent
both suspectable and antibacterial resistant microorganisms
involved in nozochomical infections. Cuo nano particles has
wide antifungal spectrum and bacterias properties

CONCLUSION:-
Copper oxide can we synthesize using various different
methods and one such method is sol gel method. It is very
efficient is produced small size Nano structures
Different forms of small none scale structures can be formed
using different type of preparing which can be further used in
different applications. The difference reaction method such
as Natural of ligand. Content concentrating of reagent
solvent reactions time and temperature can also effect the
shape, size and homogeneity of synthesize products.

RESULT:-
The presence and formation of cuo nanoparticles was
detected by x-ray reasons visions. In which the crystall atoms
deflects the indicates x-ray into various difference directions.
