 Artist differ from a craftsman in his handling of materials, Some artist don't deal with
materials much, or by any means. They foster an idea, then, at that point, sub-contract the
most common way of transforming it into a genuine actual item to craftspeople with the
applicable abilities, similarly as a designer doesn't as a rule do their own bricklaying.
2. Explain the differences between painting mediums in the way they are handled and the
effects they produce.

While there are plenty of options to choose from, there are several mediums that are
popular with painters all over the world:
To start with, the encaustic (also called hot wax) is the combination of hot beeswax and
other ground shades poured on surface then, at that point, trailed by the utilization of
hotness to get the tones and tie them to the ground.
Tempera paint was frequently utilized for painting on vellum in the development of books
previously. It is a mineral shades blended in with egg yolk and egg white that is the reason
it is some of the time called as egg gum based paint. The craftsman utilizing this medium
should design his plan well for it is a quick drying paint.
Fresco is the utilization of earth shades blended in with water on a mortar divider while
the mortar is clammy. It is generally related on wall painting compositions or those works
of art painted or straightforwardly applied to the divider and roof like the Michel Angelo
done on the Sistine house of prayer roof.
Acrylic is quick drying paint containing color suspension in acrylic polymer emulsion.
Acrylic paints can be weakened with water, yet become water-safe when dry. This is
generally involved by the present painters for it enjoys many benefits.
Watercolor is a strategy wherein the paints are made of shades suspended in a water-
dissolvable vehicle. This is generally applied on papers different backings are papyrus,
bark papers, plastics, vellum or cowhide, texture, wood and material.
