Introduction, academics and work experience:
I am a graduate who is having inspiration to work in a dynamic and technological field. After the
completion of bachelors, I am standing at the junction where I want to opt course of further learning
to upgrade my academic knowledge and skills so that I can develop global prospective to achieve my
goals.
 
Regarding my academic history is concerned, I have done matriculation from CBSE board in 2015
with 8.6 CGPA and senior secondary in Humanities stream from PSEB board in 2017 with 86.67%.
After that, the keen interest in creative design motivated me to pursue a degree of Bachelor of
Design (Multimedia) in 2021 with 91% marks from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, which is
accredited at A++ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, India. All along, my
academic performance had been satisfactory.

As far as my work experience is concerned, I ....................Moving ahead to linguistic proficiency, I

had appeared in IELTS exam that was held on 05 th December, 2020 and secured overall score of 7.0
bands in the test and now, I want to apply for Post Graduate certificate in Visual Effects program
from George Brown College, Ontario, Canada
 
My interests and about the course
After the completion of my bachelors in Multimedia, I am further interested in studying a degree in
Digital Technology. I decided to pursue visual effects program because it is a fantastic way to gain
insight into the rapidly evolving digital world. Moreover, I wanted to enhance my knowledge about
how virtual reality and the use of previsualization is changing the procedure of making films.
Furthermore, Visual effects have a dramatic influence on the successful rating of the films or TV
series, therefore, relevant skills and knowledge are required to produce jaw dropping visuals.
Moreover, in my graduate studies, I have enjoyed studying technical theory of print media, script
writing and story board design, animation in 3D, film appreciation etc. that have given me
comprehensive content on using software applications to create animation, dynamics and motion
oriented visual design in 3D. Hence, this program is highly relevant to my previous studies and an
ideal up gradation of academic knowledge and skills.
 
The future program is a three-semester graduate certificate program, where I will expand upon
concepts and techniques in 3D animation, motion graphics or audio/video editing for film and
television. In this program, the subjects which I will study are Digital Visual Effects, Digital
Compositing, Photo realistic Modeling, Procedural Modeling and Animation, Immersive
Environments, Visual Effects Project I, Visual Effects Models and Shaders, Photo realistic Rendering,
Particle System Effects, Cinematography for Visual Effects, Visual Effects Project AirVisual Effects
Rendering, Matte Painting, Portfolio, Entrepreneurship, Experiential Thesis. Thus, As I have
completed my bachelor degree in Multimedia, I have studied few related subjects of this field.
Therefore, the future course at George Brown College is relevant to my previous studies that can be
one of the best platforms to upgrade skills and knowledge.
 
Learning Outcomes and Career opportunities
On the successful completion of this course, I will be able to Design visual effects sequences using
story boarding and pre-visualization that meet production requirements. Moreover, I will learn the
ability to use filmmaking and game terminology to communicate effectively throughout all stages of
production. Apart from this, I will analyse images and physical sets to digitally re-create lights,
cameras, locations and objects. Also, I will learn to recreate natural phenomena by using appropriate
particle or dynamic effects.
 
After completing my studies, I will definitely come back to my home country as I have been born and
brought up in India. I am extremely attached to the roots of my country and also my family who have
been supporting all my decisions and funding my education. I would like to remain with them. In
India, there are bright opportunities for people with an international degree. This program will allow
me to work successfully in a number of professions within various large reputable Multinational VFX
companies particularly working in India and globally such as Prime Focus Limited, Prana Studios,
Moving Pictures Company, Makuta VFX, Tata Elxsi and many more. I can work in various
occupational categories like 3D animator, texture artist, technical artist, environment modeller,
character modeller, object modeller, stop motion animator, visual effects artist and many more.
Furthermore, India is a developing country and the demand for Visual effects artists is soaring
rapidly. After the graduation and experience from Canada, I can earn a starting salary of INR
600000.00 to 800000.00 which usually jumps to INR. 900000.00 to 1000000.00 annually.
 
Language Abilities:
As far as English proficiency is concerned, I have also cleared IELTS with overall 7.0 bands, with not
less than 6.5 bands in any module. Further, my language of instruction and learning was English
throughout my past studies, hence, I ensure you that language proficiency will not pose any
challenge while studying and living there
 
Immigration History:
As far as my travel history is concerned, I have applied for a visitor visa to Dubai in 2016 and stayed
there for 6 days from 22 January 2016 to 27 January 2016 and Singapore in 2017 and stayed there
for 26 days from 4th July 2017 to 29th July 2017. Apart from this, I have never made any other
application to any nation. So, my application has neither been rejected nor denied by any nation.
 
Level of Establishment:
Regarding my level of establishment, my father, Mr. Vishal Kumar Gupta, is a businessman and my
mother, Mrs. Meenakshi Gupta, is a housewife. Regarding my siblings, my younger brother, Mr.
Dhruv Gupta is pursuing Engineering in India. My parents have been my source of inspiration to
pursue my further studies in Canada. In addition, my friends and relatives are in India and they are
also the source of my motivation and their support has inspired me to join higher education in
Canada. My father is having an annual income of INR 1553383.00(CAD 25889.72). Thus, my family
has a stable income and financial capability to support my education. All the certificates related to
above declared incomes, college deposit and GIC certificates are attached with my application. I
authorize your office to verify it. Thus, I believe that my strong family ties and level of establishment
can well assure my intention to enter Canada as a temporary resident with the sole objective to gain
the best knowledge and skills.

experience, rich cultural diversity and easy access to the job market for international students. It is
highly supportive to international students and even economical as compared to other universities.
In short, it will give new shape to my career and personality which will be quite useful in my future
endeavour.
