Kinesthetic Component of the Plant Life Cycle Lesson

 Then, I will have the students stand up at their seats and have them act out the
life cycle. I will explain how I expect them to act for each step and model it at the
same time. My steps and motions will be as follows:  
o 1. Seed (duck down with arms held close to chest) 
o 2. Seedling (plant feet apart and stand up) 
o 3. Mature Plant (feet planted with elbows at waist and hands wiggling) 
o 4. Flowering Plant (feet planted with arms up in the air and hands
wiggling) 

 I will then call out each step of the cycle. And ask them to act it out together as
they say the title of the step. I will then explain that this is the cycle out flowers will
hopefully go through as they grow outside. I will instruct the students to sit in their
seats.
